Dear Legacy families,
In its latest report, the Nevada State Public Charter School Authority (SPCSA) announced that Clark County charter schools remained in Mitigation Level 1 based on criteria established in Nevada’s Road to Recovery: Moving to a New Normal plan.
As a result, Legacy is not permitted to begin in-person instruction until health criteria improves and the county meets the set criteria for two consecutive weeks.
The first day of in-person instruction is now scheduled for an anticipated date of Monday, Sept. 14.
Due to the Mitigation Level 1 status, Legacy schools will continue to hold classes online only as we continue to be committed to providing a high-quality remote education. Although the COVID-19 pandemic and the school closures present challenges and can be unsettling, we are proud of the decision by the State and its commitment to the health and safety of all Nevadans.
Remote learning solutions have become an essential component in our unified fight against COVID-19, and we thank you for your constant support.
If you have any questions, please contact us here.
Sincerely,
Legacy Traditional Schools
