The new system is called Workday and it’s coming to your campus this Summer! The long-awaited transition from paper-based to electronic processes is now a reality for Legacy. Workday provides access to a wealth of real-time data, processes and reports, and staff will use it to maintain personal information, enter time, complete expense reports, and much more.
This is an exciting time and we look forward to rolling out Workday with all Legacy employees in mid-June!
What is Workday?
Workday is a cloud-based solution that puts control in the hands of Legacy staff and leaders. It simplifies human resource transactions, gives administrators a centralized dashboard to work from and gives employees easy access to payroll, benefits and other personal HR information.
The all-in-one solution will replace many of our current systems, including:
- ADP
- TimeClock+
- Procurify
- ClearCompany
- Solomon General Ledger
Why are we switching to Workday?
Vertex Education and Legacy Traditional Schools currently use several systems to provide services to Legacy such as human resources, payroll, timekeeping, purchasing and more. These systems all play an important role in the overall success of our schools. But, it is challenging and clunky to manage and utilize so many systems. So, we are moving to a modern, mobile, cloud-based system which will position us to provide services and support your critical work.

Workday is coming...
the excitement is building. Why? Here is a quick win that Workday will bring us shared straight from department leads.
Benefits:
Employees will now be able to make their own life event changes directly into Workday as well as upload the necessary documentation. They will no longer have to email their changes to benefits and wait for the change to be manually entered. There will also be automatic feeds between HealthEquity and WorkDay so there will no longer be a delay in HSA/FSA contributions into the employees accounts.
