#ReasonstoRide    MADD/Uber Partnership

Despite that it’s never been easier to get a safe ride home, drunk driving crashes have actually increased in recent years.  MADD has a new national co-branded awareness campaign with Uber – Reasons to Ride to highlight the many safe ride resources available today. The three components are a website, reasonstoride.orgdigital video and social media hashtag: #ReasonsToRide.

Holiday Season NHTSA Campaigns

The holidays are known for being merry and bright, but they are also known for being the deadliest season when it comes to drunk driving. Every holiday season, lives are lost due to drunk drivers. In preparation for the holiday season, NHTSA will be supporting the Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving campaign from November 23rd to December 11th and the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign from December 14th to January 1st. Their social norming and enforcement marketing tools can be used to support efforts to stop impaired drivers during the holiday season. Click here for social norming (Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving) marketing tools. Click here for enforcement (Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over) marketing tools. Also check out NHTSA’s YouTube channel NHTSA’s YouTube channel for videos that can be shared on social media.
