Dear District 124 Community and Family Members,
Here is today's update:
E-Learning Begins Wednesday, March 18: Thank you for your continued patience as our staff has worked to solidify District 124's E-Learning plan. Beginning tomorrow at 8 a.m., families will be able to access our new E-Learning web page using a button on the front page of the D124 website, or by using a link that will be emailed and texted to families tomorrow morning. This information will not appear on the website until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18
Once you arrive on the E-Learning page you will be able to access the assignments for your child's grade, along with some other resources to help you get started. You will notice that the links for all grades contain learning plans for five school days. Early next week, we will add the plans for Days 6-10.
Most assignments that our students will see do not require a login of any kind; instead, the majority are simply links to online texts and other resources. For those activities that do require a login, students should use the Clever QR code they were provided at the end of the day Friday and should have come home with it.
If you cannot access the website, paper copies of the grade level curriculums will be available for pickup at the District Office Wednesday-Friday between noon-4 p.m. If you need further assistance, please call the District Office at (708) 423-0950 x2101.
Wednesday's Board of Education Meeting: In an effort to limit the size of the audience at Wednesday's meeting, the Board of Education has decided to live stream the meeting on the D124 Facebook Page.
Use the button below to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting. Please note that your name and hometown (not address) will be read aloud during the live stream if you choose to submit a comment. The Board will not be able to monitor or address comments made in real time during the live stream.
Kindergarten Registration: Kindergarten registrations have been postponed until further notice. If you are interested to set up an appointment once the registration office reopens, please send an email at registration@d124.org.
As always, please continue to check the District's Question & Answer Page, which is updated frequently with answers to questions from the community.
Thank you.
