Superintendent's Message Dear EPCHS Parents & Guardians:
On behalf of the School Board, I want to ensure our community that our District continues to be fiscally responsible. Your recent tax bill reflects that District 231's portion of your taxes decreased despite the recent capital funds projects that have taken place to enhance our school. This is due to the District applying for and receiving a property tax relief grant, allowing us to abate $1.1 million back to the taxpayers of our community. We are grateful to our local legislators, Representative Kelly Burke and Senator Bill Cunningham, for their efforts with this grant.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped with Homecoming activities. The weather did not deter a fun week of celebrating our school spirit. To top it off our Mustang Football Team gave us a Homecoming win of 19-18 against the Eisenhower Cardinals!
Please be sure to view our upcoming calendar items at the bottom of this newsletter. There
Sincerely,
Thomas O’Malley Superintendent
