Notice to Members April 28, 2020, 4 p.m. COVID-19 update Dear Colleagues,
It is encouraging to see that Alberta’s COVID-19 numbers are continuing to fall below projections. That is a testament to every Albertan’s commitment to upholding the public health measures necessary to make a positive impact. We again thank you and your colleagues for demonstrating the profession’s commitment to the public by responsibly upholding the public health orders.
Here is our update for today:
1. Chiropractic care remains limited to urgent, critical and emergency care. The public health order issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health remains in effect. Please review the Notice to Members from March 30, 2020 for more details.
3. Don’t forget to register for tomorrow’s virtual member meeting. Join us tomorrow at 10 a.m. for the ACAC’s virtual member meeting. The first half of the meeting will feature the following three ten-minute presentations:
Following the presentations will be a half-hour Q&A session where members can submit COVID-19-related questions to the panelists. 4. Gain CC credit! Register now for Dr. Kawchuk’s webinar next Thursday. On May 7, 2020, the ACAC will be hosting a free webinar called, “GLA:D Back: A group-based program to help people with recurrent and/or persistent low back pain.” Presented by Dr. Greg Kawchuk, the webinar will highlight the research findings from studies completed in other countries as well as discuss the work currently underway in Alberta.
