NOTICE TO MEMBERS Five members appointed to chiropractor's association inaugural board committee March 10, 2021 A critical early milestone has been achieved in building a new association for Alberta’s chiropractors with the appointment of five members to the Inaugural Board Committee (IBC). We are pleased to announce and introduce to the ACAC membership the chiropractors who have graciously volunteered their time and skills to serve as Inaugural Board Committee members:
After many hours of thoughtful discussion and interviews, we’ve selected this amazing group of individuals that will collectively strive to lead the profession forward in Alberta.
In the coming months, the IBC will work to meet the legislated separation requirements brought about by Bill 46 and be the decision-making body on the direction and establishment of a successful, standalone association for the chiropractors of Alberta.
Once the association has established its governance and operational responsibilities, we will begin to strategically plan and develop the association’s brand to build, promote, and lead our profession in Alberta.
Selecting these five representatives was not an easy decision, and we thank all who put their names forward through the expression of interest process. Your enthusiasm and willingness to volunteer and lead this profession is a testament to the breadth and depth of commitment of ACAC members.
We are confident that our profession, from both the association and regulatory components, is in good hands based on the expertise and willingness to serve that all applicants demonstrated in this process.
We have much work ahead of us, but we are confident that the assembled IBC team will meet these challenges head-on, resulting in all chiropractors being proud to be a member of this new association.
Sincerely, Dr. Natalie Carrington Co-chair, Inaugural Board Committee Dr. Kelly Fleck Co-chair, Inaugural Board Committee |
