No community transmitted COVID-19 cases in our community is a good sign that our families and communities in the Waikato continue to be safe and look out for one another. As we head into the Christmas holidays and remain on Alert Level 1, it is important we don’t become too complacent as the risk of COVID-19 remains a concern for our community. Please keep up the good work and follow the guidelines for Level 1 by staying home if you are sick, get a test if you have symptoms, wear face covering on public transport, keep track of where you have been and who you have been with and maintain good hygiene practices – use the COVID-19 APP. If we continue to do this we will be rewarded by getting to celebrate the Christmas period with our families and friends.
Please feel free to get in touch with us or connect with the health and wellbeing services listed in this Update.
All the very best to our young people as they sit their NCEA exams this month. An important time for the whole family!
